The site is a residential housing located overlooking the Griffiths Observatory in Los Angeles, CA.

One area of the residence was to be taken into consideration, and re-designed to suit its needs. My proposed design is a home lounge and bar area in which the concept of "cave" was applied. The bar functions as both a dining table on one side and drink bar on the other. 

The reading area is located behind the bar, close to a skywell that is already an existing structure within the house. The area functions so that a curtain wall is placed in order to create privacy and can be opened to serve as a bar.
